Executive Advisor
Communications & Strategic Narrative Development for Leaders and Organizations
The Goal of this Work
About Alyssa London as an Executive Coach, Communications Strategy Advisor, Consultant and Trainer
Alyssa London is an executive communications advisor and strategic communications consultant who works with for-profit and non-profit executives, founders, executive leadership teams to clarify complex ideas, strengthen leadership communication, and shape organizational messaging before, during and after the key delivery moments.
Her background spans journalism, television, executive advisory, and cultural storytelling, giving her a unique perspective on how leaders communicate during moments that shape perception, trust, and organizational identity.
Alyssa previously served as the first Native/Indigenous contributor to both NBC News and MSNBC, where she reported on issues affecting Indigenous communities and hosted the MSNBC special The Culture Is: Indigenous Women. She is also the founder of Culture Story, a media platform focused on storytelling across journalism, film, and digital media.
In her advisory work, Alyssa serves as a strategic thought partner to leaders, helping them organize complex ideas, refine messaging, prepare for high-stakes conversations, align the leadership team’s narratives, and strengthen how organizations communicate with boards, funders, partners, media, and the public.
Helping leaders think clearly so they can communicate with clarity and confidence.
Whether preparing for a board meeting, leading an organizational transition, developing a strategic plan, speaking publicly, navigating media attention, or communicating with funders and partners, this work helps leaders translate complex ideas into clear communication that builds trust and advances their mission.
The quality of leadership communication is often determined long before its time to step onto a stage or sit down for an interview, so the focus is to build the narrative and delivery approach before it needs to be utilized publicly.

Why This Approach Is Different
This work extends beyond preparing for a single speech or interview, and is not traditional media training, speech or presentation coaching.
It combines executive communications advising, strategic thought partnership, organizational messaging, and leadership communication to help leaders navigate the ongoing conversations that shape organizations.
Through collaborative working sessions, leaders gain greater clarity about their thinking before communicating with boards, staff, funders, partners, media, or the public.
When preparing a leader to speak and use their voice, the goal is to affirm and bring out the qualities they already possess instead of changing their style completely.
Alyssa's background in journalism, national television, executive advisory, and cultural storytelling informs this work by bringing an external perspective to conversations that often shape organizational messaging and public perception.
